Nice write up

A friend of Stormtrooper Ranch shared this story about our Troopers, and we thought we would share it with you. This is from our friends Sister-in-Law’s MySpace. We corrected the Troopers character names in this story:

Show Me a Super Trooper Dressed as Batman, and I'll show you the Happiest Boy in the World

Yes. My super-hero (mostly Batman) loving son met a Storm Trooper, who was dressed like Batman. How awesome is that?

Through his eyes, Judah has yet again met one of his heroes! He was (and still is) so very excited. To be watching him at the time he saw this BatTrooper (Thatman) (yeah, that's what I'll call him) he froze, then his eyes got huge (I'm thinking to myself ""WT.....") so as I turned around to see what he was looking at his voice rang out: "Mommy! Mommy look! BATMAN!!!!" which could be heard throughout the parking lot along with giggles and a few cheers for my star-struck son. This BatTrooper (Thatman) looked over and to Judah's pure overjoyment, gave him a wave. Then slowly Judah began to notice the other Troopers: The FlashTrooper (Mega Dork), SuperTrooper, ArmyTrooper (GI-JOBA-FETT) and of course Miss Princess Leia Robin. (Thatman’s sidekick was a chick! AWESOME.) This just brought on jumps of joy for mister Judah and brought him to bolt to see the the heroes. Catching up to Judah he was hi-fiving Thatman with the biggest grin I've ever seen. So here I am camera-happy-mommy, ready to snap this most perfect picture when I notice little Toni by my side, very shy and carefully watching these huge Troopers, but a small smile curled up before she asked if she could be in the picture. But of course! She slowly walked over and stood next to Judah as I snapped the picture of a lifetime.

What a great start to an awesome day! The parade was about to start (Fiesta days in my home town) so as we were getting ready I wanted some of the action so I asked Thatman to snap a pic and I grabbed Mega Dork and SuperTrooper decided to hop in too. Score! Yes, the kid in me does decide to come out once in a while, and when it does much fun is on the way! My son laughed as we posed, which in turn made me giggle like a kid, which then even made the Troopers laugh themselves.

Yes. Mega Dork is wearing glasses. Haha. Seriously, these guys are the coolest things ever. I can't get over it. GENIUS!

Annnnd on to another part of the adventure of today. (Don't worry, Trooper guys will return a little later on). We walk through the parade, the twins were on the float with Little Logger and Little Miss Fiesta (THE cutest things ever) as I pushed miss Carmen in her stroller, and we passed out bubbles (well, I passed them out and she, chewed, on them.) She was waving up a storm stirring up many "awww"s and tons of "how cute"s out of the crowd, loving every minute of it (of course she was, after all she is my kid!).
After we were done with the parade and chatted a bit with Mom (who was the Grand Marshal of the parade this year, what an honor!) we walked back a bit and watched the rest of the of it while everyone else took the float back to the house. And yes. Again we pass those most awesome Troopers. Carmen didn't like them nearly as much as the kids did (granted she did need a nap like 2 hours before that moment), well in fact she wasn't thrilled with them at all. The look she gave them could stop a robber in his tracks! Thatman wasn't too excited about that, so he moved on and high-fived the swarm of kids coming our way.

(oh yeah! TOTALLY forgot about LoggerTrooper)

Thank you for your excitement, this is why we do this!

What's Going on at Stormtrooper Ranch?

Stormtrooper Ranch is not only a costume group, but now is actually a place. Stormtrooper Ranch is being built on private property with personal money from Stormtrooper Ranch Members.

The Building of Stormtrooper Ranch started in January 2010 and we are setting a deadline of summer 2012 to complete this project. Due to heavy snow this year we had a lot of storm damage to trees and structures which has set us back. We had to remove over 30 large trees due to storm damage.

We apologize but Stormtrooper Ranch is not open to the public, and we wish everyone could visit Stormtrooper Ranch, but this is on private property. Everything on the property is part of our members private collection. We are not conducting any type of business, nor is Stormtooper Ranch a amusement or theme park. Stormtrooper Ranch (the place) is exclusively being built for Special Children invited to stay the weekend with characters, members to meet, have fun with their families and invited guest.

The property used is owned by Ranch Members to be used by Ranch Members, and their invited guest only. Everything on the property has been built or purchased by Stormtrooper Ranch Members and is not for sale or rent.

Security is kept tight here at the Ranch and everything is captured on video surveillance to keep our private collection safe.

Please do not contact Stormtrooper Ranch about renting, purchasing, or using this property/items within the property.
You can watch the progress at www.youtube.com by entering Stormtrooper Ranch in the search box on the you tube page. Thank you for your interest in our group.

How to join Stormtrooper Ranch

If you are interested in joining us at Stormtrooper Ranch you must meet the following Qualifications:

1. Own a Star Wars/Clone Wars costume. We do not only except Imperial members but any character from the Star Wars series. We also welcome fun Star Wars costume much like the famous Elvis Trooper, Super Trooper and Mega Dork , Thatman and Princess Leia Robin, and who can forget GI-JOBA-FETT, Logger Trooper and yes Firefighter Trooper costumes (please be original in your fun costumes and do not copy others such as Elvis Trooper. People work hard to be original and spend tons of $$$ building such suits).

2. Join to have fun not to make $$$ (we are all volunteer). Here at Stormtrooper Ranch believe that if you don't have fun its not worth your time participating.

If you can meet these qualifications email us at edyck@gotsky.com or write to: Stormtrooper Ranch P.O. Box 1117, Mount Shasta Ca. 96067

Special Tribute to a Stormtrooper Ranch Fan

Cori Fulkerson was a fan of Stormtrooper Ranch. We had the honor of attending her Celebration of Life service, and what a life it was. She "lived" more in her 31 years on this earth than most people do in a full lifetime. She will always have a special place in the memory of Stormtrooper Ranch.
